One year on since graduating and what a year it has been!!!! the
next few posts are a retrospective of my year............so here goes:-
September 2011 After exhibiting my work at New
Designers June 2011 I was invited to show some of my work at Mint gallery/store
London as part
of the London Design Festival 'Mint Explores' this was a great success, as well
as selling it was a great opportunity to expose my work to a wider
audience, lots of press interest.

October/Nov 2011 I was invited to exhibit my work in the Fresh exhibition as part of the British Ceramics Biennial Stoke-on -Trent, I was also invited as resident artist to develop a body of work taking inspiration form the discarded wares which I had access to on the pottery site,
During my residency I organised a drop in work shop entitled 're-cycle, up-cycle' the event was enjoyed by all and the work produced by the public became part of the exhibition

January/Feb 2012 another busy month!! I had the opportunity to undertake a placement with Craftspace, Making Moves
project 'Creating Futures For Craft' which has enabled me to produce a body of research in response to the placement and informed the development of some new work which will be exhibited in the Making Moves touring exhibition September 2012-2013( I will post more details nearer the time). Part of the project involved supporting Artist Jim Bond in some community sessions held at the Boars Head Kidderminster working with KAF creative's and Phoenix group, an interesting time engaging with artist and groups, especially the life drawing sessions.http://www.makingmoves.org
April/May 2012 A collaboration project with Wedgwood Museum and Wolverhampton University promoting exclusive one off artworks has inspired me to design a range of brooches in response to the museums exquisite collection, my work will be promoted by the museum in the Wedgwood Museum gallery/shop and globally through their online store. I will also be visiting the museum throughout the summer to access some of their archive designs and will be developing some ideas based on my research..
